✈️Key Information for Non-EU and EU Students
Our program is designed with flexibility in mind, featuring virtual or hybrid classes to accommodate working and international students. Τhere are only two mandatory events that require physical attendance:
1. Bootcamp: Intro to the Digital Era & Research Methods
This dynamic kickoff event welcomes new students to the program with a blend of ignite talks, challenges, workshops, and outdoor activities. You’ll get to know and collaborate with fellow students, faculty, and academic partners while exploring the evolving digital landscape, its challenges, and opportunities.
2. Hackathon: Innovation in Action
The annual Hackathon is a highlight of the program, offering students a chance to take on the roles of startup "co-founders". Together, they collaborate to design innovative digital solutions addressing pressing social, political, and communication challenges.
ℹ️Visa Information
The appropriate visa for short-term stays to attend the Bootcamp and Hackathon events is a “Schengen visa” (Type C). This visa allows non-EU students to travel to Greece and stay for a limited period, sufficient for participating in these educational activities.
For a smooth application process, apply well in advance and follow the instructions provided on the Global Visa Center website. If you have any doubts or require assistance, feel free to reach out to us.
