Our student, Konstantina-Maria Platnari, recently spent 10 days in South Africa as part of her 3rd semester project on Digital Peacebuilding.
In collaboration with the Centre for Mediation in Africa (CMA) at the University of Pretoria and under the guidance of Professor Maria-Daniella Marouda, Konstantina is exploring digital solutions and contributing with her research to the development of an innovative digital mediation tool designed to foster deeper understanding and effective conflict resolution.

This project is part of a meaningful partnership between Panteion University and the University of Pretoria, combining efforts to explore new pathways for peacebuilding in the digital age.
Konstantina-Maria Platnari on Her Experience:
"This year was truly transformative—much like my Master’s Project on transformative mediation during the third semester of my Master's Degree in Digital Transformation.
My trip to South Africa in November 2024 gifted me with unforgettable memories, exploratory ideas, new collaborations, and most importantly, the opportunity to connect with incredible people."

"This project focuses on fostering peace and inclusion in communities and schools by using innovative, accessible, and adaptive approaches to conflict resolution.
For me, the question and the goal remain the same from the day I finished Law School: How can we improve people’s lives? And now, it’s clear that digital solutions have the potential to create meaningful impact in addressing real-world challenges."
