Our student, Eleni Modou, successfully completed her graduation project, exploring how universities in Eastern Africa can enhance digital communication accessibility and inclusivity for the entire academic community.
With the support of Youthmakers Hub, a European non-profit organization based in Greece empowering young individuals in Europe and Africa, Eleni conducted research on digital inclusion at universities in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia.
Her study identified key challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, financial limitations, cultural-linguistic barriers, and digital literacy gaps, while also showcasing best practices to foster equitable digital access.
A key milestone of the project was Eleni’s participation in the "Learning and Teaching Innovations in Higher Education" workshop, hosted at the University of Girona, Spain.

This initiative, powered by the 3is Erasmus+ Project (Impactful, Inclusive, Integrated Higher Education in Eastern Africa), provides educators with new approaches and tools to making learning not just informative but truly transformative.

At the workshop, Eleni led a session on "Inclusiveness in Digital Communication", focusing on how digital platforms can promote accessibility, break down educational barriers, and create equal learning opportunities.

This project was completed under the academic supervision of Pantelis Vatikiotis, Associate Professor at Panteion University, & e-Campaigning Specialization Coordinator.
